Women-only African adventure getaways

Womxn for Wild offers women-only adventure getaways in Africa, founded by Carmen Claire van der Westhuizen and Melanie van Zyl in late 2020. The experiences range from hiking to surfing, aiming to create a community of diverse women bonding over outdoor activities while supporting conservation efforts and local NPOs. Safety is a priority, with certified local guides and an educational component included in each trip, leaving a lasting impact on participants’ lives and creating a network of repeat attendees.
