Ex-Husband Pleads Guilty to Drugging and Raping Former Wife

Philip Young, 49, pleaded guilty at Winchester Crown Court to drugging and raping his wife, Joanne Young, over a 13-year period, admitting to 48 of 56 charges including 11 counts of rape and 14 counts of voyeurism. The offences occurred between 2010 and 2023, with Joanne present in court for the proceedings. Five other men were also charged with sexual offences against her, with some pleading not guilty. The case highlights a troubling history of abuse and the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding it.
