A Brazilian-born woman with ties to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been granted bond from ICE custody, contesting possible deportation. Bruna Ferreira, a Massachusetts resident, was released with a $1,500 bond after being arrested by ICE agents last month. Conflicting claims have emerged over her immigration status and relationship to Leavitt, with DHS calling her a “criminal illegal alien” while her lawyer disputes the allegations and states she has legal status under DACA. Leavitt has not publicly commented on the case.
