Christina Howell, 37, has been sentenced to detention in a psychiatric hospital after fatally stabbing 61-year-old Hubert ‘Isaac’ Brown in a racially motivated and unprovoked attack in Bristol. Prior to the incident, Howell, who suffers from schizoaffective disorder and had a history of hospitalizations, expressed a desire to return to a hospital and showed her care worker the knife she used, claiming she would target a drug dealer. The court highlighted the lack of remorse from Howell, with Judge Peter Blair emphasizing her dangerousness and issuing a hospital order with restrictions.
