Woman killed in late-night drive-by shooting in Sydney suburb | Australia news

A 65-year-old woman was killed in a drive-by shooting in Ambarvale, suburban Sydney, after being struck in the leg by multiple bullets fired from an unknown vehicle at her home. Emergency services responded around 11 PM on Monday, but she died at the scene; two other occupants, a 21-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man, were unharmed. Local police and the homicide squad are actively investigating the incident in search of the assailant.
