Woman’s violent meltdown at Orlando Southwest airport leads to arrest

A video recorded by passenger Peyton Turbeville shows 45-year-old Selomit Velez-Rodriguez having a violent outburst at Orlando International Airport, where she yelled at Southwest Airlines staff, kicked an employee, and damaged equipment while expressing frustration over missing standby flights. Velez-Rodriguez was arrested on charges of battery, criminal mischief, and resisting an officer, later posting bond to return home to Illinois.
