In 2023, Sydney Towle, 23, discovered a bump on her abdomen and experienced stomach pain while exercising, leading to a diagnosis of bile duct cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy and surgery, the cancer was removed, but a follow-up MRI in August revealed a recurrence. With limited treatment options due to low white blood cell count, Towle faces the challenge of battling cancer once again, with it now spread to her liver and an abdominal lymph node.
