The WNBA has presented a new proposal to increase player compensation after extending the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) through Jan. 9, 2026. Key features of the offer include a maximum guaranteed base salary of $1 million, a minimum salary exceeding $225,000, and an average salary above $500,000, alongside a salary cap increase to $5 million per team. While both sides agree on the need for significant pay increases, they remain divided on revenue sharing and pay structure. The previous CBA was set to expire on Oct. 31, but extensions have been agreed upon to facilitate negotiations.
