New WNBA initiative allows girls to cosplay Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu in parks across the U.S.

The WNBA’s new initiative, ‘Line ‘Em Up,’ aims to enhance community engagement by painting the league’s official three-point line on outdoor basketball courts nationwide, starting in Brooklyn. Spearheaded by WNBA Chief Marketing Officer Phil Cook, the program encourages young athletes to play and recognize their representation in the sport. The initiative, which began discussions during the WNBA All-Star weekend, hopes to expand to 20-30 courts in various markets, with a vision of inspiring young girls to envision themselves in the WNBA while practicing their shots on these courts.
