Over 60 million Americans are facing a severe winter storm named Blair, with forecasts predicting the coldest temperatures and heaviest snowfall in over a decade across the US and Canada. The storm has prompted severe weather warnings in more than two dozen states, leading to blizzard conditions in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri, as well as expected heavy snow in Washington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. A state of emergency has been declared in several states, with experts attributing the extreme weather to an ‘Arctic outbreak,’ causing widespread flight cancellations, thundersnow in Kansas City, and the potential for tornadoes in the southern US.
