The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) announced their largest fentanyl seizure to date, recovering 46 kilograms during a raid in Windsor in late September. This amount is estimated to provide around 460,000 street-level doses, posing a significant risk to public safety. Two men, aged 25 and 29 from Windsor and Vancouver, respectively, face multiple drug-related charges and are scheduled for court on December 8. The investigation, which began in fall 2024, revealed connections to organized crime and also uncovered cocaine, heroin, firearms, and cash valued at approximately $6.5 million.
