Wincanton: Al Dancer takes Badger Beer Chase and Paul Nicholls claims five winners

Gallant grey Al Dancer, ridden by Callum Pritchard, won the Badger Beer Chase at Wincanton as a 25-1 chance under top weight for trainer Sam Thomas. Owned by Dai Walters, the 11-year-old horse triumphed with a bold front-running performance. Trainer Paul Nicholls enjoyed five winners at the event, including Swingin Safari in the concluding Bumper and Rubaud in the Elite Hurdle.
