Manchester United are still in contention to qualify for next season’s Champions League and they’ve booked a place in the semifinals of the FA Cup by beating arch-rivals Liverpool on Sunday.
However, their season is widely considered as underwhelming, and manager Erik ten Hag believes his team came close to turning their fortunes around on several occasions before.
Ten Hag’s response when asked if this could be a huge turning point for @ManUtd:
“We’ve missed so many opportunities. At Arsenal we should have had a penalty. Then we scored, disallowed. Then we conceded a goal which should have been disallowed.” 👀
