West Indies secured their first win of the series by successfully chasing down England’s target of 219 in a thrilling fourth T20 in St Lucia, with openers Evin Lewis and Shai Hope setting the tone by scoring 136 runs in the first nine overs. Despite a brief collapse with three wickets falling in as many balls, captain Rovman Powell’s 38 and Sherfane Rutherford’s late hitting ensured a five-wicket victory for the hosts. England’s total of 218-5 was built on Phil Salt’s 55 and Jacob Bethell’s explosive 62, but ultimately it was Lewis and Hope’s dynamic partnership that proved decisive in the high-scoring match.
