The agitating medics from the West Bengal Junior Doctors’ Front withdrew their 11-day sit-in outside the state health department headquarters last week after talks with the government. However, the government has now allegedly withdrawn permission for a convention to discuss the future of their movement for justice for the RG Kar rape-murder victim. Despite facing obstacles, the doctors have vowed to continue their fight for justice and plan to hold the convention as scheduled on September 27.
