SpaceX successfully launched the sixth test flight of its Starship rocket from its private “Starbase” facility near Brownsville, Texas, without any crew onboard. The rocket reached space and traveled halfway around the Earth before reentering the atmosphere and splashing down in the Indian Ocean. Although SpaceX aimed to land the rocket’s “Super Heavy” booster on the company’s launch tower, it ultimately splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico due to not meeting the necessary criteria.
