Warren Winiarski, the founder of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, passed away at the age of 95. His 1973 Cabernet Sauvignon famously won the Judgment of Paris blind tasting in 1976, beating out top French wines. Winiarski’s innovative winemaking techniques helped put Napa Valley on the map as a premier wine region.
