Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz praised Vice President Kamala Harris’ advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights at the national dinner for the Human Rights Campaign, where he promised to further the cause if elected president. Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, addressed a supportive crowd of 3,500 attendees, entering to John Mellencamp’s “Small Town” and highlighting the importance of the event as “the best party in the nation.”
