U.S. Vice President JD Vance will visit the Dachau concentration camp memorial in Munich before critical talks with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy about the Russia-Ukraine conflict at the Munich Security Conference. Dachau, a powerful symbol of Nazi atrocities, was one of the first concentration camps where over 40,000 prisoners died before its liberation by U.S. soldiers in 1945. Vance, alongside Secretary of State Rubio, will discuss ending the war with Zelenskyy, as Trump pushes for negotiations while criticizing NATO allies’ defense spending at the conference.
