Commission President von der Leyen embarks on a four-day journey to the Western Balkans to assess their progress on the EU path and the €6 billion Growth Plan, meeting with leaders in Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, and Montenegro. In Albania, she will meet with Prime Minister Edi Rama and visit the College of Europe campus in Tirana, followed by meetings in Skopje with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova. President von der Leyen will also address flood recovery efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina and hold discussions with leaders in Serbia, Kosovo, and Montenegro before concluding her trip with press conferences in each country.
