Virginia Teen Killed in Shooting During Prank
In Virginia, an 18-year-old boy, Michael Bosworth Jr., was fatally shot by homeowner Tyler Chase Butler, 27, while Bosworth and friends were filming a ding-dong ditch prank for TikTok around 3 a.m. Butler has been charged with second-degree murder and other offenses, claiming he believed the teens were attempting to break into his home. Bosworth, a senior at Massaponax High School, was killed just hours before the school prom, prompting the district to offer counseling support to students and staff.
