Virginia Prison Attack Injures Guards
An attack at Wallens Ridge State Prison in Virginia injured five guards, primarily by MS-13 gang members who are illegally in the U.S. Three guards suffered stab wounds, while two others were also injured; three were treated and released, and the remaining two were hospitalized in stable condition. Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin condemned the attack, emphasizing that those responsible should not have been in the country and expressing support for the correctional officers’ bravery in maintaining public safety.
