Police Accidentally Shot Two Victims in Manchester Synagogue Attack

On October 2, 2025, an antisemitic attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Crumpsall, Manchester, resulted in the deaths of local residents Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66. The suspect, Jihad Al Shamie, rammed his car into people and attempted to enter the synagogue with a knife; police shot at him, inadvertently hitting the victims, while others were hospitalized.
