Venezuela’s Machado believes Maduro’s regime will come to an end

Venezuela’s opposition leader, Maria Corina Machado, expressed confidence that Nicolas Maduro’s regime will be dismantled, leading to free elections, during a press conference in the US. Following her gesture of giving her Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump, she criticized Maduro’s government and referred to vice president Delcy Rodriguez as a “communist.” Trump supported Machado but acknowledged that she lacks the immediate backing to lead Venezuela. The Norwegian Nobel Committee confirmed that Machado retains her Peace Prize despite her donation to Trump.
