Vancouver driver plows into crowd of people attending Filipino festival, killing multiple victims

A driver crashed an SUV into a crowd at the Lapu Lapu Day festival in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday night, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries. The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. at E. 41st Avenue and Fraser, with the motive for the attack currently unknown; the driver has been taken into custody. Local authorities reported that video footage showed victims and debris scattered across the area, with the exact number of casualties still being determined.
