Louisa Palmisano Tragedy
Louisa (Lulu) Palmisano, a three-year-old from Burnley, died after being struck by a van that collided with a tram in Manchester on February 22. The van driver, Rawal Rehman, 35, had taken at least 20 lines of cocaine before the incident, ignored stop signs, and fled the scene but was later arrested. Rehman, who has a prior conviction for conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, admitted to causing death by dangerous driving and is remanded in custody pending sentencing on May 27, as Lulu’s family mourns their profound loss.
