Valentine’s Day pub shooting suspect ‘believed dead after falling into Thames’

Police have confirmed that the man suspected of shooting a woman outside a Kent pub on Valentine’s Day has died after falling into the Thames. The victim, Lisa Smith, was killed in Knockholt, and the suspect, named as Edvard Stockings or Smith, is believed to have fallen from the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge 17 miles away. Despite multiple searches, his body has not been recovered, and investigations are ongoing to assist the coroner.
