One fatality and one injury in vehicle incident near Matatā

A fatal incident occurred in the Bay of Plenty when a person died and another was injured inside a moving vehicle after being attacked by a third individual. Emergency services responded around 3:50 PM at the intersection of Flax and Matatā Rds, where the vehicle subsequently crashed and CPR was performed on the victim who did not survive.
