His discontent over ticket allocation led to his resignation, followed by suspension from the party’s disciplinary committee, leaving Congress in shock as it faces internal turmoil ahead of upcoming elections. To mitigate embarrassment, the party has expelled Joshi for six years, as stated in a letter signed by Dhani Lal Shah, member secretary of the Congress Disciplinary Committee.
