Pirelli sets 25-lap tyre limits for Qatar GP
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Pirelli has announced a new tyre limit for the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix weekend, restricting each tyre set to a maximum of 25 laps due to concerns over tyre wear. This decision, made in collaboration with the FIA, F1, and the teams, follows an analysis of the previous 2024 event at the Losail International Circuit. As a result, the upcoming 57-lap Qatar GP will require teams to manage their tyre usage more strategically. This measure aims to enhance safety and performance during the race.
