After three Formula 1 races featuring straightforward one-stop strategies, the proposal for mandatory two-stop strategies is struggling to gain support. The lack of strategic variety in the Baku, Singapore, and Austin Grands Prix led to discussions during the Mexico Grand Prix drivers’ briefing and within the Sporting Advisory Committee. This issue is also being considered by the F1 Commission as they seek to enhance race dynamics. The move aims to promote more competitive and varied racing strategies.
