FIA announces shock return of Rao as advisor to Ben Sulayem

Shaila-Ann Rao has been appointed as a presidential advisor for the FIA, marking her return to the organization. She has previously served as the FIA’s legal director from 2016 to 2018 and as interim secretary general for motorsport for five months in 2022. Her return follows a period working with Mercedes, further expanding her role within the motorsport governing body.
