Star Gold Cup cars: First Chevron single-seater and Birley's Prelude return

In celebration of Chevron’s 60th anniversary, the historic B7, originally raced by Peter Gethin in 1967, made a brief appearance in the 1000cc Historic Formula 3 at Oulton Park. Despite its recent restoration by Mike O’Brien’s Speedsport team, the car encountered teething problems that prevented 2023 champion Samuel Harrison from fully demonstrating its capabilities.
