BTCC Thruxton: Ingram survives contact with Sutton for victory

Tom Ingram secured victory in the first race of the British Touring Car Championship at Thruxton, overcoming two clashes with Ash Sutton. Sutton, a four-time champion and current series leader, started from pole position in his Ford Focus ST, while Ingram drove the Excelr8 Motorsport Hyundai i30 N Fastback. This win marked Ingram’s first of the season, despite his previous winless streak.
