Cadillac has appointed Marc Hynes as the chief racing officer for its Formula 1 team. Hynes, a former racing driver, won the 1999 British F3 title, narrowly defeating Luciano Burti, while future F1 world champion Jenson Button finished third. He gained experience working with the Manor team, which also competed in F1 and WEC, alongside chief Graeme Lowdon. This new role marks a significant step for Cadillac as it enters the competitive world of Formula 1.
