Haas Names Doohan Reserve Driver for F1 2026

Haas has appointed Jack Doohan as a reserve driver for the 2026 Formula 1 season, joining Ryo Hirakawa, who has held the position since April. Doohan, a graduate of the Red Bull and Alpine academies, has previously competed in seven grands prix with the Enstone-based team. His addition comes as Toyota increases its involvement with the American outfit. The move highlights Haas’s strategy to bolster its driver lineup for the upcoming season.
