The first significant test for Red Bull Ford Powertrains, following an earlier filming day in Imola, went mostly as planned. Liam Lawson triggered a red flag at the beginning of the lunch break but managed to complete 88 laps in his Racing Bulls. Although Max Verstappen did not participate, his teammate Isack Hadjar successfully lapped the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya 107 times. Overall, the team gained valuable data and experience from the session.
