U.S. Central Command announced that ten military strikes in Syria targeted over 30 Islamic State (ISIS) sites between February 3 and February 12, as part of Operation Hawkeye Strike. This operation was launched in response to an ISIS ambush that killed three Americans in December. Additionally, more than 5,700 ISIS detainees were transferred from Syria to Iraq, aligning with regional security efforts. CENTCOM reported that over 50 ISIS militants have been killed or captured during this ongoing campaign.
