Sri Lanka has begun offloading 208 crew members from the Iranian vessel IRIS Dena, which sank off its coast following a U.S. submarine strike that killed 87 people. President Anura Kumara Dissanayake announced the decision to assist the crew, which includes officials and sailors. Iran claims the ship was sunk in international waters without warning and has requested Sri Lanka’s help in repatriating the deceased. Search and rescue operations continue for approximately 10 missing individuals.
