U.S. Southern Command’s Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out a lethal strike on Dec. 29, killing two narco-terrorists aboard a vessel operated by designated terrorist organizations in international waters. No U.S. military forces were harmed in the operation, which marked the 30th lethal strike since September 2, with a total of at least 106 people killed. The strike was authorized by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and targeted a vessel traveling known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific.
