US, Iran to hold more nuclear talks after latest round

The United States and Iran have concluded a second round of talks in Rome regarding Tehran’s nuclear program, agreeing to reconvene in a week. The Oman-mediated discussions were described as “constructive,” with both sides planning to continue technical negotiations. Iranian officials asserted their commitment to focusing solely on nuclear issues and lifting sanctions, while US Secretary of State Marco Rubio urged European allies to consider reinstating UN sanctions due to Iran’s non-compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal.
