The Trump administration defended the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) following chaotic scenes at its aid distribution hub in southern Gaza, where hungry Palestinians overwhelmed the center, leading to injuries and empty-handed queues. Despite GHF’s claim of distributing 462,000 meals to alleviate the humanitarian crisis, the U.N. criticized the operation as a distraction from actual needs and raised concerns over biometric screening and the risk of forced displacement.
