Three Israeli hostages, including an American and French dual national, were released by Hamas after being held captive in Gaza for over 15 months. The hostages, Yarden Bibas, Ofer Kalderon, and Keith Siegel, were handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza and transferred to Israeli troops. The release was part of a multiphase deal brokered by the U.S., Egypt, and Qatar, involving the exchange of prisoners between Israel and Hamas. The ceasefire deal has allowed for the release of 18 hostages so far, with more exchanges expected in the future.
