Igloo Cooler Recall
Igloo is recalling nearly 1.2 million of its cool boxes following 78 injury reports, including 26 fingertip amputations, due to a hazardous tow handle that can pinch fingers. The recall affects coolers manufactured before January 2024, identifiable by a specific date code on the bottom, and they were sold at major retailers and online between January 2019 and January 2025. Consumers should stop using these coolers and contact Igloo for a free replacement handle, as the initial recall on February 13 covered over a million units in the US.
