Unified crossbench and opposition push Government to show progress on homelessness recommendations

The Cook Government must report on its progress in reducing homelessness after a vote in the upper house backed a motion from WA Greens housing spokesperson Tim Clifford, requiring a response by September 18. Homelessness Minister Matthew Swinbourn reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ending homelessness and developing a new five-year action plan informed by a committee’s 57 recommendations.
