‘Unfortunate’ Adams Said the Same Things as Trump About Migrants

Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Rep. Pramila Jayapal criticized New York City Mayor Eric Adams for echoing some of former President Donald Trump’s views on migrants and immigration, stating that Trump’s arguments are “horrible” and do not reflect the values of New York. Jayapal emphasized that New York is defined by different principles and beliefs that do not align with Trump’s divisive rhetoric.
