UNDP has played a key role in supporting Mongolia’s transition to a market economy, democracy, and accountability, with projects like establishing Khas Bank and Gobi Cashmere factory. The organization also focuses on promoting renewable energy and recently published the 2024 National Human Development Paper to provide policy recommendations for a Just Energy Transition in Mongolia.
