UN peacekeepers say Israel army damages south Lebanon position

UN peacekeepers accused the Israeli army of deliberately damaging a south Lebanon position, marking one of several similar incidents. The Israeli army destroyed part of a UNIFIL position in Ras Naqura, including blue barrels marking the UN-delineated line of withdrawal. Despite pressure, UNIFIL will continue monitoring and reporting tasks in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
