A UN war crimes court has denied Ratko Mladic’s request for early release due to health issues, stating his condition does not qualify as an “acute terminal illness.” Mladic, the “Butcher of Bosnia,” is serving a life sentence for genocide and war crimes related to the Srebrenica massacre, where around 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed.
