The General Command of Umm Al Quwain Police has increased its efforts in response to the changing weather conditions and heavy rainfall in the emirate, which have impacted various roads and water collection areas. Their focus is on assisting the public and ensuring smooth traffic flow. They are also working diligently to address all reports and incidents received by the operations room, with the goal of controlling traffic accidents and emergencies.

Brigadier Saeed Obaid bin Aran, Director General of Police Operations in Umm Al Quwain, mentioned that they are coordinating with various authorities such as the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, the Civil Defense Administration in Umm Al Quwain, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the Water and Electricity Authority, the local media team, the Umm Al Quwain Municipality, and the Red Crescent. They have provided shelter to 16 affected families and taken steps to address reports of rain accumulation by closing roads affected by water accumulation and redirecting traffic to alternative routes.

Drivers and road users are advised to exercise caution in these conditions to prevent accidents and injuries caused by water pooling on roads or speeding without attention. Umm Al Quwain Police is prepared to handle rainfall, weather fluctuations, and anticipated inclement weather conditions, as well as to assist vehicles affected by weather conditions.

The General Command of Umm Al Quwain Police urges the public to cooperate and follow guidance from relevant authorities in the state. They advise against spreading rumors or news without verifying official sources and assure the public of their readiness to respond promptly to emergency reports at any time by calling 999.
